Road to Kickstarter #16: The Pre-Launch Page

There are a couple huge milestones when preparing for a Kickstarter Campaign, and this week we reached a big one! Our Pre-Launch page is now live! This may seem inconsequential, but the Kickstarter Pre-Launch page lets you sign up for notifications about our campaign and gives you the best chance at getting into our campaign early so you can be one of the few heroes to snag the elusive early bird deals.

Now that the prelaunch page is live, we can now start forming the virtual line for our campaign!

This pre-launch page is important for the campaign for a number of reasons. 

First, it allows all of you the opportunity to get adjusted to the Kickstarter platform and poke around a little bit. An added benefit is that you can make your profile now, so that when the Kickstarter goes live you will be all set and not have to worry about getting set up on launch and worry about missing out on the early bird tiers. 

Second, we (as I just mentioned) will have early bird tiers for this campaign, and want to make sure that all of you have diligently been following this process leading up to the campaign have the best chance at getting those sweet sweet deals. 

Finally, it allows us to get a general understanding of the appetite for this particular campaign and project. Not only do we hope to make world class products that help you plan your lives, but we aim to get them to you in the most expedient way possible. Getting a gauge of the interest this early in the process allows us to work closely with manufacturing to make sure that we can get the volume of materials needed and not have to make any quality sacrifices in the production process. 

A couple final thoughts: 

All of the reasons above are things we talk about daily, but the most pivotal reason we do this pre-launch page is to show Kickstarter that we are a project with a lot of excitement around it so they will support us by giving us the tag of “a project we love.” 

We look at Kickstarter as a method to build alongside all of you heroes who support us daily, and as an opportunity to recruit new heroes. As far as money is concerned, we as a team do not get excited about seeing a massive number for the sake of it being big. When we look at the money pledged, we see an opportunity for us to treat more and more people like the hero they are. We have a new product and a new campaign, but our mission that we started with in 2019 remains the same, “to treat people like the hero they are.” RSVPing for this Kickstarter allows us to generate buzz and excitement around the next product in our lineup and helps us continue on this quest we started all those years ago.
