I usually have a really hard time with planners and journals and such because my ADHD keeps me from completing tasks that don’t give my brain enough dopamine. With this journal, though, it combines one of my interests (dungeons and dragons) with a coloring book (I freaking LOVE coloring books), and in doing so, keeps me interested enough to actually WANT to complete each page. Granted, I’ve only used it for a few days, but so far I really do love it. It’s the first daily journal I’ve used where I haven’t skipped a day. :)

Oh my gosh this whole business is so wonderful! I bought the wrong PDF jornal and side quest deck on accident and customer service was WONDERFUL when it came to helping me out with that, this is my second order from them and I am loving it as well! I've been using the jornal to help myself make more friends, and its actually really helped to see my little goals for the day, and to be able to check them off is so satisfying!!
10/10 will for sure buy more in the future!!

I have had The Hero’s Journal on my radar for about a year now. When my not so successful journaling subscription ended, I thought it was finally time to try something new. I play a lot of rpg-style video games and I am a DM for my D&D group, so I thought The Hero’s Journal would be right up my alley, and I was so right. I prep my pages the day before with what I know is coming up and do some light colouring of the scenery. Day of, I finish colouring the page while I contemplate my day and whether I achieved my goals. It’s been a fun experience so far and has really helped carve out some me time in my day.

I came upon this journal right as I was preparing for ankle surgery to repair a ligament to hopefully get me through one last 100 mile race (I have a very rad orthopedic surgeon) before having a more extensive surgery (arthritis sucks).
5 days post surgery I’ve been keeping on track of my daily goals to ward of boredom with the bonus of getting some coloring done. This journal will get me through the first 6 weeks (non-weight bearing … which also sucks) and through PT.
Then I’ll pick up the next 2 journals to get me through training and if anll goes well, across the finish line next August.
This has been an absolutely delightful find. I try to avoid social media, but came across it on one of the few occasions I logged in.
Thank you for a well designed, easy to use, and fun journal (for any age - I’m not as spry as I once was) to help this temporary wounded explorer become a future heroine .
Roylan M.
Have had my journal now a couple days and so far so good. Pages feel very high quality. Definitely no bleeding through with different pens. Easy to use daily, but also can skip days as needed. Outside is like a canvas-type cloth material set on a hard surface underneath. Should hold up fairly well. Comes in a very nice case/box to protect it during shipping.
All together, so far it is working for me as intended, and is very high quality. :)

I writing in the Istoria Magic Academy and this one and I love it. I've even bought it as b-day presents. But I found that it helps my distress after a long day both by writing and drawing in it. It is perfect for people who love aventurine games or D&D it has a good storyline in it. The creators did I fantastic job!

So this is my second journal! I'm someone who has never had good luck using journals no matter how much I like the aesthetics of them, but this one stuck!! I'm so thrilled the format has worked out for me. I was using it for school in the Istria magic academy now I have my legend of Istoria for improving my general well being :) the format being centered around a quest as well as the flexibility of where you write stuff really helps! As well as being dateless for whe I miss a day. Two things of less fun note though. 1. The linen cover is pretty but a dog hair attractant (and really any loose fibers) and the pretty gold design smudges off eventually. This was a disappointment as I wasn't subjecting the journal to any intense wear and tear outside of using it daily and carrying it in a backpack. Also, I really loved the flexibility of writing notes wherever so I don't like that the legend of istoria has a place where it says 'notes' that's my side quest panel thank you very much! But no really despite that this product is absolutely worth the money and both my productivity AND my mental health have increased with its aid :)

I am 72 and locked in a routine of work (Yes, I am still employed!), home and repeat. As so many of my previous co-workers/teachers have retired, and some sadly have passed, I recognize my years for work and play are becoming limited. For econimic reasons my son and DIL are living with me in my downsized, Senior community house. So things are a big bit cramped and cluttered. Just going home to clean and tidy up is phenominally boring/discouraging so to get the task done it needed to be brought up to the level of Adventure! My Quests, including enliveing my social life are 'poked' into action using the journal. While i really can't write every day, I do make myself sit and write 4x weekly. And with school starting, I will have to force myself until the Back To School frenzy subsides. But - So Far, So Good! Meileen

I'm a sucker for a journal/planner. I love the theme of this one. It cries out to the part of me that loves adventure stories and quests, sitting around a table and rolling dice, and other things of that nature. Understand that if you stripped this pf the theme you would still have a pretty effective undated daily planner. It will not go into as much detail as some other planners on the market. For example, you won't have time slots for every day. But for my style, it's simple enough where I can use what's there and freestyle more things. Truth be told I've used more complex planners and just ended up not using all the slots etc. It always boiled down to what this journal offers: goals for the day, a to do list to reach the goals, and things that will help and hinder me. Add the theme and it makes for an enjoyable experience. Will be buying again.
Juliann N.
I decided to get a hero’s journal because it seems like a fun way to set a 3-month goal and actually work little by little to get it done. So far I really love the instructions and tutorials on how to get the most out of your journal. Currently want to focus on being more productive at work. Will definitely get another when I’m done!
Norm H.
1) What were you using to plan and track your goals prior to The Hero's Journal?
Nothing. Just winging it or randomly and rarely writing a to-do list.
2) What made you willing to try us out?
Actually, it was an advertisement of the side quest deck. It looked interesting and something I could really use to keep me motivated.
3) Have you enjoyed your experience with us?
Yes, most definitely.
Aubrey B.
I got this to give myself something to look forward to so I can be consistent with Journaling. So far I absolutely LOVE this one. The whole premise of it being an adventure drew me in, but I love that nothing is colored in. It gives me a chance to decompress after a long day and also just have time away from my devices for as long as it takes for me to color. I also love the allies and threats sections. Celebrate the wins and watch what threatens success to be mindful. Overall an amazing product!
Jennifer F.
I love writing in my journal and appreciate that I get to enter the dates. When I use it in the morning, it challenges me to get more out of my day - and start my day on a positive note. And sometimes I do a little coloring, too, which is relaxing and makes me happy! This is a great producr!
Kelley B.
Journaling isn't really my thing, but I got this on a whim after discussing the idea of journaling with my therapist. This journal looked cool so I bought it and figured it'd just probably end up in the corner of my room. When I opened the box, I could not be more wrong!
This journal is FANTASTIC! I never had a journal that has helped me to break down goals, been so user friendly and fun to use, and the fact there's a storyline, and the absolute beauty and craftsmanship of the journal itself, made it absolutely irresistible. Even though I just purchased it, I know it will be used every day and certainly not thrown in a corner.
For the first time in my life, I actually look forward to spending a few minutes a day with my journal.
Gabriel D.
I’m enjoying the journey. Having fun coloring and setting intentions while having Starbucks and playing video games. Life is good :)
Dennica F.
Love this already. My mom, sister and I are working on it together and supporting each other with these journals! I’m really excited to get going.
Emily K.
Hoping this one sticks because I completely adore it and is so wonderful different from every other planner/journal I've tried!!
Kris B.
I just started my first journal, but I already love it and want to continue. I love the sections to focus on things I’m grateful for, especially, since I have struggled with that my entire life. I’m also happy with the little bits of artwork that I’ve wanted to color in, too. Wonderful, high quality journal, and I’m already planning my next one.
Sylvie P.
My son recommended this journal to me and so far I love it. Having guidance in the process is a huge help. I also like that I can add my personal touch to the pages. I will likely buy another volume once I’m finished with this one.
Velta W.
It turns out that reframing my challenges into interesting and exciting quests was what it took for me to start to tackle all the things I've been procrastinating on for so long! Somehow I've learned to uncover the bravery (that's always been there, but hidden) to deal with things I've wanted to avoid, but know I needed to do. Taking time to identify obstacles daily has been key. In my mind, each obstacle becomes a dragon that i either need to tame, cajole, or slay using the allies I identify daily too. I really needed this!

I always hesitate when it comes to journals - so many years of untouched and half finished diaries and notebooks has made me think that maybe keeping a daily record is just not for me. However, with about two weeks left in my journal to complete, I can say with confidence that I just hadn’t found the right approach. The Hero’s Journal does such a good job of helping you not only romanticize your own life and in a way, gamify it, but it also helps you track your own growth and goals. My partner is maybe an even bigger fan of the journal than I am, and we have both seen progress in the way I handle stress and anxiety on a day to day basis. I love being able to color in the illustrations, and the prompts making me reflect on my “journey” and past week are very eye opening. I sincerely recommend this journal to anyone looking to hold themselves accountable in day to day life. Not to exaggerate but this may be the best purchase I have ever made.
Robert F.
I had been considering buying a Hero’s Journal for a while and finally decided to take the plunge. The journal itself is beautiful and of a very high quality - that alone justifies the purchase. I’m still working on my quest but if it helps me there all the better. I can say that only after a few days of using it I already feel more engaged with my life. Very happy with it.
Cynthia C.
Finally, I admitted to myself that I am at the jumping off place of depression. I am thankful I was able to recognize it all before it became a real problem. It was then, almost immediately, I found this Hero's Journal stuff. I can see recovery in it, and cognitive behavior therapy in it, occupational therapy. All good stuff. I am excited to give this all a try.
Debbie J.
Love this productivity journal! I'm using it on my quest to become more Zero Waste. Seize the day goals are especially helpful and I love all the details on each page.
Tamara G.
I'm enjoying working through the pages with the prompts. They help to focus my plan for the next three months. The daily pages cute art is inspiring, and there is still plenty of room for me to have all the sections that I typically have on a dot journal page--so I can keep it customized to me.
I'm experimenting with keeping my collections in a separate notebook--we'll see how that goes.
Varun G.
A great journal to explore thoughts with! Lovely paper and quality. Looking forwards to my next one!
Anna H.
The hero's yournal is the first time Im trying anything like it and untill further notice it seems to work pretty well I always describe my goals for the next day because I don't have enough time in the morning and it has given me more structure in my day to day live.
Jessica R.
I love this journal! I have been trying for years to bullet journal and never kept up with it. This helps me stay focused on a goal, and I look forward to journaling every morning to get my day started. Im incredibly proud that Ive been able to journal consistently, and I love the content, questions, and prompts. I cant wait to achieve my goal and move on to a new goal and journal.
Gabrielle D.
I got this journal to help me stay focused and for motivation. I have ADHD and viewing every day like an adventure makes it easier to be stuck in an office all day. I have used this journal for a week now. I enjoy the pictures and I take time each day to also color each page. I have an overall goal of just using my time more wisely and writing out my goal every day helps me to stay focused. I love this journal and highly recommend it for anyone who likes the idea of journalling, but not necessarily free writing your thoughts. Anyone who needs some tool to help them focus on their goals. And of course people who like fantasy/RPGs. The paper is thick, but it did bleed through a bit when I used markers on it. No issues with using regular pens though. It feels like a regular book and looks exactly like the pictures.
Daphne K.
Prior to using The Hero's Journal, I was using a basic diary to plan and track my goals. It worked all right, but I was getting bored! I wanted something that would motivate me more but also add some fun to my day. This is why I considered The Hero's Journal. I wanted to "gamify" my life! This journal does just that. It is way more interactive than a basic diary, so I am glad I made the purchase.
3) Have you enjoyed your experience with us?
Catherine F.
Two things sold me: the online quiz and the free pages. I was pretty skeptical, but I took the quiz, and as a huge LOTR fan, I thought may-y be-e. I probably still would have passed, if not for the free pages. I downloaded them and started brainstorming. That's when I decided to buy.
Harley W.
I love writing in it and uncovering the story!
Tyler H.
I purchased the Hero’s Journal Legend of Istoria bundle (Journal and Side Quest Deck) as a gift for my girlfriend. She loves it and I love it too. The quality of the journal is fantastic. I was a little apprehensive at first because of the price, but after receiving my journal I can see that it was well worth it. The side quest deck is also a great companion to the journal. There’s something oddly satisfying about being able to pull random cards with things to do on them. It makes some of the more mundane tasks of day to day life just that much more exciting. If you’re a fan of Lord of The Rings/DnD type fantasy settings, and you enjoy using journals/planners to keep organized, I would definitely recommend this product.
Christopher S.
Great First Impression and Motivation!
Although I just received a Hero's Journal I am very impressed with the materials and depth of thought that was out into this journal.
I believe it was the book Tools of Titans or one of Tim's books that brought up journaling and how it can clear the mind. I have tried journaling a couple times but nothing has stuck. I bought this journal with the goal to journal everyday and I guess we will just have to see.
Erin S.
Ive always struggled with finding to keep my self organized. Regular planners live for about 2 to 3 days maybe a week, before my brain is soo cluttered ive forgotten why i got it. Your Hero's Journal is the first one that makes planning and organizing my goals an actual possibility. I can take my time with really attempting where i want my quest to go and know its okay if it changes or morphs into something unexpected. I love that its a journey, and for the first time in a while its a journal that is holding my interest.
Isaac P.
Love the journal so far! Using to keep track and motivate me while I work on releasing my first 2D Videogame.
Tiffany W.
I've just begun, really looking forward to using this journal. I think it's going to be a really nice way of making my day feel a little bit brighter.
Cris S.
I picked up a Hero's Journal after seeing the Quincy's Tavern Tik Tok video about it and I'm glad I have one. The story telling is very cute (without pandering) and the structure is simple enough to not get overwhelmed or dissuaded from using it. I'm only two days in but I'm really going to try and do the full 90 days. Really loving it so far and totally recommend it.
Cierra V.
I love my Legend of Istoria quest guide! I have the dragon fire red color and it is super bright. The pages don't bleed through, and so far I have been using it every day. It doesn't feel like a chore and I love not knowing what will be on the next page. I am using mine to build productive habits and complete tasks I have NO interest in doing. I love it and will get another one the second I finish it. Thank you so much! I will never buy another planner again!
Stephen E.
I've had the journal for about three days now. I find very easy to use and great for my PTSD and ADHD. I absolutely love it. Thank you for a wonderful product.
Marz S.
Going from bullet journaling in a regular journal to this guided story is amazing. Every time I'd stop bullet journaling it was because I didn't want to take the time to sit down and set up my pages. This journal gives you present pages in a unique and creative way. Both the changing detailed pictures and the story acts and progression are able to maintain your attention and love for journalling.
Emily P.
For three years I have used the Dragon Tree Apothecary’s “Dreambook” planner as a tool to make sense out of my retirement years. But as it is not in the nature of this retiree to plan out a ten year vision for self, career, and family development, I wasn’t using the planner as it is intended. I would bog down in trying to plan for too many objectives. I still like it for keeping track of appointments, deadlines for my volunteer work and so forth.
But I have a dream that I kept sidetracking for two decades. I aim to learn to play my banjo. I recognized that I was shooting myself in the foot by inventing every excuse on the planet to excuse myself from that scary effort at which I could fail and be disappointed…
Your Hero’s Journal (s) are perfect for providing shape, direction, and accountability to this yearning. I am Bilbo Baggins on quest to outmaneuver Smaug, find the Arkenstone, use it to broker peace, then return home to plant a seed of peace from Beorn’s garden. Pete Seeger was my flesh-and-blood hero and I aim to wield my banjo as he did.
I think the ninety day framework, about a semester’s worth of time, is perfect for establishing milestone’s on my journey. I look forward to using my three journals in sequence as the scope and details of my banjo quest unfold.
Caitlin E.
Finally something to use with my cross stitched Hobbit bookmark!
The staff/support of this company is beyond compare. I got this journal to help with my ADHD and get me out of the house more/meet goals. I have a bad habit of stopping and starting journals and have 8 half finished ones in my closet - they’re gorgeous but they’re collecting dust.
Anyway, this looked fun and I saw another reviewer said it was good for those with ADHD.
I accidentally ordered twice (got too excited and pressed a button twice or something). I pointed it out to the customer support and they refunded my money, no questions asked. They were exceedingly helpful, friendly, and worked quickly to resolve the matter.
Started my journal last night and the quality is superb. The intro is so gripping but simple and poignant. It’s accessible for everyone from the English major/Tolkien scholar to a child just learning to journal. The questions are engaging and thought-provoking.
Get this. It’s worth every cent and I am not even on page 4 yet!
Tabitha E.
I really love this concept of a journal with a character who follows a story - I love all things fantasy and that aspect of this journal makes me actually excited to use it!
Fred H.
I love my Hero's Journal. I've never tried using a daily journal to set a goal and track my progress but this sure is an easy and fun way to do it.
Miranda A.
I found out about The Hero's Journal through the YouTube channel How to ADHD, and my ADHD brain loves it!!!!
Zerina F.
1) What were you using to plan and track your goals prior to The Hero's Journal?
I've been bullet journaling for years but it was time consuming to create spreads every month/week.
2) What made you willing to try us out?
I saw an ad on Google and for once it was something that interested me! I love journals and collect a bunch that I don't use...I enjoy RPGs so this just made sense for me to get!
3) Have you enjoyed your experience with us?
Absolutely. I saw their YT channel where they talk about the journal and it all resonated with me. I love it!
Jessica S.
I love this product! It helps me feel more organized to take on my day. I was drawn to it originally because of my love for all things DND!
Andy Q.
I am someone who constantly seeks to improve in general, and also seeks to specifically improve my organizational and habitual systems. I have tried many planners. I have found a bullet journal to be amazing for my bigger picture needs but for daily planning/prioritizing/scheduling THIS is the best planner ever and I am now sold for the foreseeable future. It has an amazing daily spread that helps me stay focused, positive, and locked in on my bigger picture goals. It has enough space for me to add my daily schedule if needed, extra notes, meal planning, and something I've been adding has been a little storytelling bit of writing to enhance the creative and storytelling nature of the journal. I'll write from my little hero's perspective and flesh out the story even more. I also enjoy coloring so I try to color the section the character is in every day so the colors move with it's progression :) As a DND fan, I also have to say that the stat boosts as part of reflection pages are SO fun and motivating. It is just such a thoughtful and cute design. You will be so happy you invested in yourself!
Ashley N.
I’m so excited to start my adventure! I love the set up for gratitude and allies and threats. And when I’ve completed my quest, it’ll be great on my bookcase to reminisce.
Theta R.
Love the set up of these journals! They approach journaling from a nontoxic perspective with some structure to get the day started, but not so much or little that it’s daunting. The story line is thought provoking (if followed) with daily quotes that are positive and inspiring. The artwork is beautiful and can absentmindedly colored while thinking about the day.
The journals are beautifully made (I have eight ). The fly leaves are lovely and I especially appreciate the addition of a pocket at the back and the ribbon bookmark.
This is the first time I’ve used one of the hardbound editions, Adventure Edition. I have been through two pdf printed versions and I have two suggestions for the hardbound versions: 1) make the bindings lay flat, it’s hard to write on the left page inside edge 2) a large print edition
Amber G.
I just got it and am looking forward to writing!
Joseph S.
I have started seeing add's for the Hero product sometime last year. I thought the look and design looked different but cool since it set up more like a story or a game. I am a gamer and i love a good story. so I love everything about this so far and I probably will be back around again for more stuff. right now I am going to be working on myself , bettering myself.
Agata G.
It's a very nice journal, as I was hoping, with a very nice box, which was an unexpected extra. Before purchase, I tired the free pages to see what the approach was and whether it was compatible with my general beliefs about life. I have found it it to be helpful and freeing while also providing structure to how I think about my days, based on what I find most important. Another great extra: The emails with letters from the Mentor, which are helping me expand my understanding of how I can be thinking about my life and my goals. In short, this product is a fun, visually pleasing, and draws on a breadth of research and human experience. Thank you for all the work that has gone into it.
Bethany D.
I’m on my fourth day of filling it out and I love it. I take it out with me when I go get coffee or to work with me and fill things out as I go. It’s been a great way to help me stay on track with my goals.
Ashley H.
This journal is so cute. I have never been great at keeping a journal. Previously, when I'd try to write, my mind would go blank OR I'd only use it to rant frustration -- never capturing positivity or goals Because this one uses an adventure theme it feels like writing small bits of a story. The pages are broken into a series of prompts that help keep me focused on a more holistic view of where I am and where I'm going. The side quest decks are a fun addition, assisting in some variety in my day to day activities. I highly recommend this for people of all ages who are looking for a unique journal.
Daniel F.
Excellent product. I have engaged with many of these concepts separately, but the format of the Hero’s Journal really feels like it will help me maintain consistency while self-guided through using skills and I will have ample opportunity for mindful creativity while adding my flair to the pages.
While doing an intensive therapy program, many of the same activities were used, including 3 things I am grateful for each day, setting overarching and daily goals, conceptualizing mental health issues, and mindfulness activities including coloring and journaling. I am impressed at how many evidence based tools used in such programs are packed into such a cute and well put together package in the Hero’s Journal.
Another tool I have used to track goals is Habitica, which feels like it has a similar fantasy vibe. Some aspects have been very overlapping, such as a prompt I chose to think of my challenges as foes and my strengths as a hero to fight them. I think the Hero’s Journal and Habitica provide different roles though and I hope to use them in concert.
Nik K.
Love this style of journal!
Bonnie R.
I always said I was going to” but I never made a plan! I saw this journal on Facebook and I was intrigued by the Quest aspect…must be the English Lit teacher in me. I have so enjoyed getting started on my “going to” and at 63 years of age I’m going on an adventure!!!
William D.
I saw the ad for this journal on Facebook and thought about it over New Years. Finally I bought one and its Side Quest deck and I am blown away by the quality. I wanted something I could use to track my goals and this is perfect. Thank you!
Jay N.
What a wonderful idea, creative, inspiring and helpful. Great job on this journal. I've started already and looking forward to the successful adventures ahead!
Shareya R.
I couldn't pick it up right away, but when I could the journal is so cool to use! Being able to color in it and work out how my day would go makes me really happy to use it!
Luis Q.
Hi, thanks for writing to me.
I was using a lineless rule-less journal to track my thoughts, and unfortunately since I have ADHD, it was very difficult to organize my thoughts because of how big the blank page was.
The Hero’s Journal is perfect because it feels purposeful and novel, and fun! I make it a habit now to use it every single day, which actually helps me keep my priorities straight. I think it’s a powerful tool for people who are on the spectrum to steady their chaotic minds. Hope this helps.
Thanks again!
Lorraine T.
I love the ADVENTURE aspect of this journal. I just kept an endless list before, and it didn't inspire me, even on days when I "got a lot done". Now I feel purposeful and I'm having FUN!
Angela L.
I love the journal- the detail is amazing and I love the idea of tracking my schedule and responsibilities as quests. I have been using the law of attraction planner for several years because I like the layout of the weekly pages. I plan on using the the daily pages more as weekly pages, so having the date slashes makes it more difficult to write the week. The only other thing I could ask for is a calendar. A booklet themed to the storyline that could be inserted into the journal and transferred to the next one that has all the months in it would be amazing. Thank you so much for such a fun way to plan my weeks and set goals for myself!
Elizabeth J.
Queen Elyzardbeth had been using a similar sized sketchbook to create a monthly calendar since January 2019. She started by creating a budget tracker, where was her money going?! Then she thought she could record the recipes she liked. Nothing seemed to stick.
One day, she came across the Mentor. He insisted she obtain a copy of the Hero's Journal. "PISH POSH!" She declared, "I shall make my own!" But where to start? As her monthly calendars became more and more crowded with which tenants she must check on each day, how much alcohol she was consuming each day, and two other notebooks to record to do lists, recipes, and shopping lists she had had enough!
Greedily she purchased not only a journal but all three side quests for days with an open schedule. On one of her many travels she purchased stencils and colored pencils to bring the journal to life. While writing her name with a Rembrandt Projection pen, she was disheartened to see that it bled through the pages, however she has found that with this journal she is perfectly content to eat frogs all day, no matter the size.
Abby A.
The most beautiful journal I’ve ever had! Can’t wait to start using it!
A.J. H.
My partner loves it and is looking forward to her adventure!
Dax V.
Beautiful, quality journal with great illustrations and a fun theme. Love that it's designed without pre-dated pages, meaning it's forgiving and accepting if you need to take a day or two off from journaling. Only wish is that there is more room for notes on the daily pages, but the notes section in the back kind of makes up for this. However, I don't really like lined notebooks, so I wish I had the option to choose between a notes section that is dotted or lined. These are little suggestions, though. Overall the journal is lovely and I'm glad I bought it :)
Emma P.
I have tried every type of journal/planning there is. This is the only one that has worked for me.
Mary A.
I bought one journal earlier this year & found it held me accountable to my journey. When you had the bundles on sale, I purchased one of each type & cannot wait to start using them. I'll be finished with my current journal right at the end of this year.
Love the Daily Inspirations & the Daily Gratitudes which help provide inspiration along the way. I highly recommend.
Natalie R.
I do adore the journal and how it's laid out. I adore all of its pieces. The only reason I haven't started using it directly yet is because I have a planner/journal subscription through Silk & Sonder that I absolutely love, too. It is elegant and already gorgeously decorated.
Yet my thirst for adventure and my love of tabletop RPGs has me oggling over the Hero's Journal. It's fantastic how each week's spread has minute changes to the images to depict the story. I love that every page is a coloring page. I just don't have -THAT- much free time for it, yet. I juggle so much and it doesn't have the space (full time student, full time job, caretaker, head of household, and girlfriend). So far, I've adapted the pieces into my current journal subscription and I am saving the Hero's Journals I bought for when I'm out of school and have a lot less going on all at once.
This journal is special and I gifted one to my friend who struggles so hard with focusing. She has a habit of wanting to escape through reading, watching shows, and playing games. I'm hoping and wishing that this Hero's Journal will hone her in and help her reorient her perspective of difficult situations she faces.
Sophia S.
I started and i am so excited to see where it takes me. The quality is gorgeous and overall so happy
Lisa L.
It's a planner/gratitude journal/notebook/coloring book all in one, and I love it.
DIANE B.
This is a Christmas present for my daughter. It was something she had on her wish list. She is very cold oriented, so I am quite sure she will enjoy this when she gets it.
Nuka Falke D.
This book is so well made, that I am looking forward to writing and drawing in it every day. And that makes it really easy for me to take the time to plan my day, sort my priorities and reflect about my feelings and needs.
Coloring in the pages is a good reminder to take a break. And the weekly reflection helps me acknowlegde my progress and sparks new motivation.
Also the detailed guide to define my quest helped me to not just pick a good goal, but also phrase it in a way that reminds me of how deeply important that goal is to me.
Ryan H.
This is the best idea for introverts that I've ever seen. I love this so much!

This journal has been exactly what I needed. I stopped smoking/drinking a little over a month ago, and really needed a tool to help me form some new, healthy habits. Having something to help me define my goals, motivate me, and hold me accountable has been extremely helpful. Being able to chart progress and check off boxes has given me a sense of purpose and satisfaction I sorely needed. The adorable artwork and ability to color the illustrations has been a huge bonus, and a great way to unwind at the end of the day. Overall, this has improved my daily life and made my big lifestyle changes far more manageable.

I feel so much more accomplished since starting my quest! It's really helped me keep track of myself and my goals in a fun way. I saw the suggestions of coloring the pages from another reviewer, and I've been having so much fun coloring in each day as I complete my tasks.

Honestly it would be such a shame to have to fill the pages in itself, I reckon what i could do is have a blank notebook and follow its format, I tend to do that with many things, that way they last, 1 set of 91 days seems like I'd wanna do more with it. I haven't started it just yet I'm leaving it for the start of the new year, but I reckon I will follow along in a secondary notebook just so it can remain something and not just be something I tuck away after it gets filled in.

Love this journal. I've only been writing in it for a few days but it's already starting to help me with my mindfulness, and helping me develop some better habits. Thank you so much.

Ive been using this journal a week and I have been more productive in those days than previous months. I am trying to produce a show and have made meaningful steps already. I am excited to use the journal every day and have enjoyed coloring it in as well.

My daughter is 24, a huge D&D fan, and loves all things fantasy. I have been searching far and wide for Christmas gifts that are meaningful and beautifully made, and I feel like I have struck gold with "The Hero's Journal!" It literally arrived in the mail two days after I placed my order, and was very nicely packaged. The box the journal comes in (see photo) is top quality and will be a beautiful place for her to store the finished journal. I will send more photos after she opens it on Christmas, but in the meantime, I am now thinking about getting the Magical School Journal for my other daughter to avoid Christmas Day jealousy!

Have tried more planners than I can say. Love the fun to this and coloring !! The geek in me is in heaven

I play D&D and I really enjoyed this one. I will be giving this to a fellow D&D and journaling friend for Christmas.

At first I was planning to use this journal to motivate me to have more fun with project planning and editing my first book. But, I've ended up enjoying using it everyday because of the gorgeous visuals and storyline. I also use it for projects that involve a lot of tasks to check off. I haven't even used it to for my book yet, but when my schedule allows me, I look forward to it! This is a very motivating planner!

We got the set of 3 for our son’s Bar Mitzvah year preparation. This will be our fifth attempt at using a planner. So far it is going 10x better than previous planners. He is very happy to sit and doodle with me while we talk about what he wants to do with his day and his life.

Tried the moleskin blank journals but it became more of a to do list than a journal
Just fell in love with the quest and hero concept. Also a fan of the Tolkien, Rowlings genre. Love the quotes too!
Even at the ripe age of 64, I still want to be a hero in my story!

Whether you plan to take over a kingdom or become the king you are; planning is key, and perseverance it’s key chain. Locks are everywhere but keys are rare. This is a pretty good key in my book.

I know The Hero's Journal almost since it came out but at that time it was not shipping to Canada so I bought a PDF version when it was available. I didn't thought about it much again since I was using it that way and then I saw it on Tik Tok with the magic and SF ones and thought hey why not look if they ship here now. So I went a little crazy when I saw it's now shipping here and bought all three because I love paper planners way more than digital one. I'M IN LOVE WITH THEM. They're perfect and I recommend 100%!

After 20 years of being cook, chauffeur, coach, cheer leader, maid, and all of the other titles that go with being a Mom, I suddenly found myself with an empty house and no recollection of what I used to do with my time. I bought the Hero's Journal to help me find my new passion and joy, plus help me overcome a few fears I found along the way. My children are my life, but I am curious to see what else my life can be.

I got the journal to help with my depression. I found it on TikTok and it's exciting that it's quest style because a regular journal gave me no motivation.
I'm most excited for the cards as it will assign me something to do instead of me putting it off because I don't feel like it.
I love that it's not colored so I can do it myself while watching videos.
The quality is amazing!

I've been struggling to journal or keep any tracking done lately... Having a LOTR-esque theme really intrigued me, and the graphics sparked my interest in colouring again .
I only have a bit of time at the weekends for it, so the non dated pages are a plus, but hopefully and fingers crossed, I'll be able to build the habit of journaling again

Absolutely Love This Hero Journal. Love the Quality Service and Fast Shipping. Just Superb Business. I'm already planning to place orders for my children who love my book.

I am at a transition in my life and wanted a way to encourage a beneficial movement into new territory than a stuckness in the unknown. I have never been one to set goals, and honestly balked at the idea when forced to do it in school as a kid/teen. But this is for me. So I'm trying it out. So far I love the different ways each page engages my head and my heart.

I love this Journal. It allows me to plan and stay on track.

To date, I have gifted seven of these journals to people in various professions, all of which use them for work notes and personal journaling. Figured it was time to finally get myself one!

I love the journal! It is a great place to gather my thoughts and try new challenges. I am sure I will buy another one as a gift or for my next adventure.

I love the Hero’s Journal! It is the first planner/journal I’ve ever completed. I stumbled upon them them I was preparing a lesson about the hero’s journey, and was intrigued right from the get go. Not only does it satisfy the nerd in me, I’ve found it incredibly helpful when I was diagnosed with adult adhd. 10/10 I recommend this journal to everyone!

Super fun journal, I’d been eying this for a while cause I really liked the idea of making everyday an adventure. I just started using it but so far, I think it’s great! The art is beautiful and every page will make good coloring. The quality of the paper is really nice too. I think it will be nicely motivating!
