I was really impressed with the hero’s journal overall. The box design is beautiful, the journal is well crafted, the bookmark is a wonderful touch. My only complaint would be the binding, the journal is covered with a kind of leather that bunched up when the journal opens. It makes it hard for the journal to sit flat on a desk and may lead to damage to the design over time. Overall this is a product I would highly recommend.

I was nervous ordering the Adventurer's Edition as this was my first journal and I didn't know if I would be ordering them out of order or not. I'm so happy I did! The leather looks great and at home on my bookshelf and I love the provided bookmarks. As far as content is concerned, it's easy to follow along with the instructions, the coloring pages are great for destressing after work, and I love how you can skip days since there's no specific calendar system. Not only has this helped me begin and continue my personal quest but it has also provided me with a space to organize all of the other to-dos in my life and see any unnecessary distractions. I very much recommend buying this edition regardless of whether this is your first Hero's Journal or your 50th.

I absolutely love this journal. I got the digital/print versions and I use the digital with Adobe PDF editor and my husband uses the print version. It works really well for us and will be a cool anthology for our baby when she comes in 3 months.

What a fun way to organize your thoughts and goals! It really does help me keep track of progress. The only idea I have to make it better is at the beginning of each act have a 2 page spread with a pathway and each step of the pathway is a box to help you figure out the increments of how you want to progress a goal (doesnt need to be held by dates, just map out each leg of the journey) and the end goal of what to achieve. That would make my daily quests a bit easier to be more focused of what leg of the map im on and what I can do that day to either progress or maintain. Just a thought

This journal has removed the wall I'd always hit when journaling. Simply amazed by this. The distinction is story. The compelling force of that. I don't walk away from a good adventure movie unless dragged. When things are framed like this I feel like I 've been given winged shoes to cross fiords of doubt and disinterest. Listen, I've tried all the systems, apps and planners out there. What I love about this one is how simple and engaging it is at the same time.
I tend to get lost in "urgent" stuff that come up throughout the day or random ideas I need to follow. The journal makes me write my main quest every day which reminds me every day of what is actually important to me. And so the 3 main tasks are either really urgent or align with my quest. And that makes them feel way more important than if they got lost on an endless to-do list. That way, if I put "read for fun" on my task list because it's part of my quest it feels as important as filing my taxes (which is also on there).

I ordered the Hero's Journal partly for a laugh. I thought it would be interesting to check it out. What I have learned has been both interesting and concerning. I know that I have a bad habit of procrastinating and being lazy. What I found concerning was how hard it's been to list three things to be grateful for. It might be nothing, but I shouldn't have to spend the majority of the time noting the journal trying to force myself into thinking about what I'm grateful for. I don't like this. I want gratitude to be not just a mindset but an action as well. Ultimately, this, so far, has been a real "get my sh!t together" experience, and I am sufficiently pissed off at myself to make sure that I get this done.
On a side note, I'm not sure if I'm journaling correctly. What I have been doing is filling in the My Quest, To Seize the Day, and Schedule sections in the morning and then filling in the Gratitude, Today's Allies and Threats, and Notes in the evening. That is also when I check off the Seize the Day checkboxes, including the frog. The Notes section I use for anything I noticed to keep in mind moving forward.
I have to say, in spite of my less than genuine intentions when I ordered the Hero's Journal, I am quite surprised at what I am learning about myself.

I started keeping a journal about a year ago and it really helped managing my tasks. As I got to the end of that first journal, I wanted whatever came next to take my journaling a step further. I wanted more prompts and direction and help with not just tracking tasks, but with setting goals and working towards being my best self. 6 weeks after getting the hero's journal, I've used it everyday and its kept me more in touch with my goals, gratitudes and intentions than I've ever been and made it fun at the same time!

Very much satisfied with this journal. Lovely binding, and very satisfying pages to write on. A whimsical way to go about your day. Planning is fun and being able to address your threats and allies is a great way to face your life. Most planners lack the personal connection, and this journal takes advantage of the time it takes for us to enter our tasks. It makes each step feel like actual progress is happening rather than checking off a list. I am loving the packaging and the vegan leather look. Definitely worth checking out.

I pre-ordered the Adventurer's Edition for my first Hero's Journal, and I'm glad I did. This is a very nicely produced journal. The leather and the gold foil are well done and appealing. But really, it's what is inside that makes this journal special. I love the artwork and the way the daily pages are laid out, and the Chapter pages are really useful for keeping me on track and reminding me to reflect.
